Your day will start with a fascinating historic harbour tour taking in the sights of the Royal Navies warships in the dockyard, as well as HMS victory and HMS Warrior. You will then depart through the harbour entrance and blast off to see the Solent’s many forts (Palmerstons Follies). Now its time to hang on as your experienced skipper puts the boat through its paces and gives you a white knuckle, pulse racing ride, jumping the car ferry wakes and carrying out manoeuvres and tight turns at speeds up to 60 mph..This ends at the world famous Folly Inn in Cowes for lunch. Now it’s off to the Needles for some fantastic sightseeing and photo opportunities. Upon leaving the needles you will visit the tranquil harbour at Yarmouth for a cup of tea. Then prepare yourself for more wave surfing and high-speed manoeuvres on the way home. It’s an unbeatable way to truly experience the exhilaration of a RIB and the Solent, probably the busiest waterway in the UK.
|Please Note:||This experience is valid for 12 months from date of purchase, trips will be run between March and Oct and are weather dependant. The Ribs are 10mtr in lenght, insured and MCA coded to carry 12 people, although we will only look to carry a max of Skipper plus 10. The skippers are all professionally qualified and carry out a full safety briefing before each trip. The boats are fitted with all the latest safety equipment and life jackets are worn at all times. The hull design also means that the boats offer a very dry and stable ride, making the experiences suitable for all ages. Age restrictions are 12 to no real upper limit. People need to feel that they are fit enough to go on the ride and should bear in mind that they will have to step in and out of the boat. Under 18s will have to be accompanied by an adult.
