Your weight doesn’t automatically tell you how fit you are, how healthy your organs are, or how good your lifestyle habits are. Even if you reach a healthy weight, bad habits such as smoking, drinking or eating junk food could be standing in your way of true health.
4. Obsessing over numbers is boring
Let’s face it – obsessing over the numbers on the scales is boring and unhealthy. Life’s too short to worry about your weight and there are plenty more productive things you could be doing than counting calories and weighing yourself. Instead of being a slave to the scales, focus on being active and getting lots of exercise. Learn lots of healthy new recipes so that you can enjoy delicious meals on a regular basis rather than filling your body with junk food.
