Summer might be over but that doesn’t mean it’s time for the fun to end. If you want something to look forward to, why not arrange a special get together with your friends?

Here are 5 fun activities to do in Autumn:

Go for a spa break

If the change in weather is making you feel a little down, why not gather your friends together and embark on a luxurious spa break?

From sipping Prosecco in the Jacuzzi to having a professional spa treatment, there are so many ways to relax and unwind during your break.

Throw a cocktail party

Instead of going on a night out with your friends, invite them over to yours for a cocktail party. Since the cost of all the ingredients can soon mount up, ask your friends to chip in.

You could hand out an ingredients list and ask everyone to bring a few drinks themselves. Alternatively, charge your friends and ‘entry fee’ to come to your party. It might feel weird asking your friends for money, but it’ll work out so much cheaper for everyone than going on a night out.

Have a murder mystery night

Spend an afternoon trawling vintage clothes shops for sequinned and beaded dresses, pearl necklaces and feathered fascinators before throwing a 1920s themed murder mystery night.

There are a number of options when it comes to throwing this type of party. You could download a game from the internet or hire a company to host or run the party on your behalf. The downloadable versions should do the trick but if you really want to set the scene surrounded by vintage decor and very convincing actors, you may want to go down the more professional route.

Have an autumn picnic

Just because summer’s over doesn’t mean you have to lock yourself indoors until the weather perks up again. There are still plenty of ways to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. Perhaps one of the easiest involves going for an autumnal picnic in the park with your friends.

Wrap up warm, grab a thick blanket to sit on, and pack tons of delicious grub to enjoy all afternoon. Because the weather’s cooler, you won’t have to worry about your food or drinks getting too warm.

Take a spontaneous road trip to a new city

How often do you and your friends venture outside of your city or town? If you’re used to meeting each other in the same places time and time again, why not take a spontaneous road trip to somewhere new?

Whether you have a short hour-long drive or have a weekend city break at the other side of the country, you’re sure to have a great time.
