Drinks Reception & Style Consultation - our creative team will help you to achieve the look you want

Meet our team for a consultation on your desired style approach - glamour, sexy, vintage or pin up and discuss the make-up, hair styling, outfits and photography. We will offer you refreshments such as an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink and make sure you are absolutely comfortable and relaxed. 

This is more than just an experience. It is a story told with the help of the artistic photographer, a team of dedicated styling experts and you as the central character. Lavishing settings, lace, velvet skin, classic poses, vintage vogue moods, all come to life during the photo session and bring out that spark which makes every woman uniquely beautiful regardless of age, shape or size. Whether it’s to fulfil a fantasy, or create a collection of photos for your partner, Hush Hush Boudoir Photography gives women the confidence to look good naked, or nearly, the choice is yours.

We ask you to please bring 3-5 outfit changes, to give you more variety in your pictures. 

Professional Makeup & Hair Styling - by our team of dedicated styling experts

Our makeup artist will cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin with premium quality products, ready for your sensual day, especially designed for you. We will make you look absolutely stunning for the look you want to achieve. Our makeup artists will happily share insider tips and tricks with you, based on your skin type, face shape and colouring. Preparing your hair for the photo shoot, our professional hair stylist will work with you and your chosen outfits to create a hair style that brings it all together beautifully. Sleek, and straight, beach-fresh textured, gorgeous curls, classic ‘up do’, messy ‘up do’, backcombed with full body… the choice really is endless.

Our make-up artist stays for the duration, applying touch ups where necessary.

Nicola Bald is an established, Edinburgh based, fashion and commercial photographer with a sensitive eye for detail and singular women’s traits. Your shoot is private and Nicola will guide you through poses ensuring she captures your most flattering angles leaving the rest in the shadows. 

Viewing Your Photos - select a complementary image

Every woman possess a beauty unique to them. As women ourselves, we relish bringing out that beauty and translating it into stunning images to be treasured for a lifetime. And don't worry about those few problem areas that good lighting and strategic poses can't hide... all your chosen images are professionally retouched - even the world's best models are given a helping hand by the wonder of digital airbrushing technology. 

You will receive a complimentary printed image to take home.

• Personal password protected online gallery, on request for a limited time.
• Selected photographs retouched and presented in a classic black mount.

Need to know / The essential bits:

• One certificate per person.
• This gift certificate is valid for 12 months from day of purchase.
• Please quote Ineedpampering when booking your day.  
• Please book well in advance and ask for opening times. most studios are open seven days per week,
• There is a fully refundable booking fee of £50 taken to secure your appointment
• Female only photographers and make up artist may be specified.
• There is plenty of parking around the studios.
• This experience is for over 18 years only.
• This experience will last for approx 4 hours.
• Please remember to bring your choice of outfits with you on the day, not forgetting the shoes to match.

Top tips on how to prepare and make the most of your special day…

• Confirm your appointment so we know you are coming.
• Wash your hair the night before your appointment.
• Wear your hair free of any styling products and avoid wearing any makeup.
• Please aim to arrive on time for your appointment and allow for 6 hours from start to finish. In most cases it will be less but delays can often occur.
• Please bring proof of ID as this may be required on the day.
• Maximize your shoot by bringing a wide variety of your favourite outfits. Examples include: casual, evening, seasonal trends, smart dress, lingerie, swimwear, accessories ideally whatever you feel most comfortable in.
• Consider who or what your portraits will be for: for many people they are simply a keepsake: they could be a gift for family or for professional purposes.
